Extension of a jetty and the realisation of cooling water installation for new

production facilities in the city of Mesaieed, approximately 40 kilometres south of Doha was completed in 2003.

In 1996, BAM International successfully completed the marine w rks for the QAFOIII extension. In 2009 the company delivered phase V to Qafco, the extension of the fertiliser export jetty.

The Qafco IV plant was an extension to the three already existing plants (Qafco I, II and III). The project comprised the construction of a complete process plant, a ship loading jetty and all connected urea transport facilities, a complete seawater cooling system and all the utilities and general facilities required to run the above plants/systems, inclusive of power generation, steam generation, desalinated and demineralised water production systems.
