BAM International refurbished two breakwaters and replenished the public beach they enclosed.

The site consisted of two working areas 1.5 kilometres apart, with numerous equipment movements and continuous traffic of tipper trucks carrying rock and sand. Despite these logistic challenges, the project has not caused the beach to close for a single day.

The breakwaters were remodeled by installing 700,000 m³ of new rock armour, crest wall units, road works and providing 800,000 m³ of sand for the beach replenishment to provide a rectified beach environment for the Jumeirah coastline.
